Which Mobile Phone Has the Top Resale Value?

Cheap mobile phones have become extremely difficult to find. On the other hand, used phones that are cheap usually don’t have the features or the conditions that you would want in your ideal smartphone. To familiarize yourself with cheap mobile phones and their availability, it is important to know the sale values of different phones.

This will enable you to differentiate cheap smartphones from expensive ones, while also determining which one you can afford to buy. This knowledge is also important if you want to buy a phone that will not immediately lose its value when being sold.

Cheap Mobile Phones vs. Good Resale Value

It is essential to understand that the resale value of a phone depends on a lot of features. Depending on these, even the most expensive phones might end up in the cheap phones category. For one, resale value depends on the brand itself; while Apple and cheap Samsung mobile phones usually have the highest resale value due to their high demand, other brands like Motorola and Nokia are not doing so well in this area.

Resale value will also depend on the original price of a phone, when it was released, the damage it has sustained, and whether or not it comes with original accessories. For instance, a phone that was released four years ago and has visible scratches and impaired functionality will be cheaper than one that came out last year and has only been used for a year.

As for which phone has the highest resale value and which are cheap mobile phones, here are a few which are doing well on the resale front, provided that they come in good conditions:

-          Apple iPhone 6, 6s, 7, 7 Plus – Having come out two years ago or less, these do not constitute as cheap phones when reselling. Keep them in a good condition and you will be able to get a decent amount of cash!

-          Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge, and Note Series – The same holds true for these reputed devices. However, if you are looking for cheap mobile phones but also want these advanced features, your best bet would be to look for a refurbished version.

-          HTC 10 – Since its release in April 2016, the 5.2-inch screen phone has been doing rather well and is still reselling for good prices. It will only come under cheap mobile phones if a lot of wear and tear has occurred.

-          LG G5 – A close competitor is the 5.3-inch display cheap LG smartphones, which is retailing for a brand new device.
While all of these popular smartphones have the top resale values, the trick to getting them as cheap mobile phones is simple: look for refurbished iPhones from trusted sellers! You will be able to find several deals that will give you these refurbished phones good as new, while not having to pay the high resale prices they usually come in.  Good luck finding the best iPhone deal!
